Chocolate Cake

When I was three or four, my extended family was celebrating Christmas Eve together. There were aunts, uncles, cousins, second-cousins, grandparents, ect. One of my aunts made a super rich chocolate cake. I was little, so I could only handle one piece. Everyone had a good time, but eventually it got late and was time to go home. During the ride home, the chocolate cake made me sick to my stomach, because it was so rich, so I threw up all over the backseat in my dad's new truck. It was very cold that night and my mom had to clean it up. I guess I ruined my parents Christmas Eve.

It's An Orange?

I was about 5 years old and it was time to open presents. I can't remember what I got, but I do remember what was in my Christmas stocking. I pulled out a ball wrapped in tinfoil. I was really excited, because I thought that it was a popcorn ball. I had always wanted one of those sticky, sweet popcorn balls! I unwrapped it and it was... an orange. What a let down.

The Fingernail File

When I was 14, all I got for Christmas was a battery powered fingernail file. I felt better than my sister because all she got was a bathrobe. She felt better than my two brothers because all they got was a towel.
